Privacy Policy

HellDonis Solutions LLC, doing business as HellDonis Lighting (“HellDonis,” “we,” “us”), installs holiday and seasonal lighting for homes and businesses in Litchfield and Fairfield County, Connecticut. This policy explains what information we collect when you request a quote, fill out one of our forms, redeem a gift card or otherwise contact us, and how we use it.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request an estimate on this website, fill out a lead form in one of our Facebook or Instagram ads, message us, call, text or email us, we collect what you choose to share. That usually includes:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- The address of the property you want lit
- Your budget range and what you would like lit (for example, roofline, trees and bushes, or a full display)
- Any notes or photos you send about your home or project
Gift card redemptions. If you redeem a HellDonis referral gift card, we collect the card code, your name, address, phone number, email if you give it, and who gave you the card, so we can honor the card and thank the person who referred you.
Information collected automatically. When you use the gift card redemption page, we record your IP address to prevent fraud and repeated submissions. Our website host keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability. Our website does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
Facebook and Instagram. If you interact with our ads or submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta collects and processes that activity under its own Privacy Policy and shares the information you submit in our form with us.
How we use your information
- To respond to your request, prepare a quote and schedule a consultation
- To install, maintain, take down and store your lights, and to send invoices and receipts
- To contact you by phone, text or email about your request, your service and seasonal reminders
- To run our referral gift card program, including sending rewards to the person who referred you
- To prevent fraud, keep records and meet our legal obligations
If you submit a form, you agree that we may call or email you at the number or email you provided about your request. We only text you if you opt in to texts as described below, or if you text us first. You can reply STOP to any text or tell us at any time to stop contacting you.
Text messaging (SMS) terms
HellDonis Lighting (HellDonis Solutions LLC) sends text messages about estimate requests, quotes, scheduling and service, such as asking for a photo of your home or following up on a quote you received.
- How you opt in: by checking the optional “Text me” box on the free estimate form (helldonislighting.com/#quote) or the gift card form (helldonislighting.com/redeem) and entering your mobile number; by choosing “Yes” to the optional “Text me” question on the lead form in our Facebook and Instagram ads; or by texting us first. The box is never checked for you, no answer is chosen for you on the ad form, and you can request an estimate without either. Consent is not a condition of purchase. - Message types: estimate, quote, scheduling and service updates only. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
- Message frequency varies, usually a few messages per request.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- To stop texts, reply STOP at any time. You will get one message confirming you have been unsubscribed. For help, reply HELP or contact us at Helldonis1@gmail.com or (203) 802-5537.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- You must be 18 or older to sign up for text messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver our messages for us.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with other businesses for their own marketing. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do that work:
- Vercel, which hosts this website, and Neon, which stores gift card records
- FormSubmit, which delivers website estimate requests to our email
- Google (Gmail), where we receive and answer email
- Resend and Twilio, which send us email and text alerts when a gift card is redeemed
- Meta, for leads submitted through our Facebook and Instagram ads
- Snipey Lead (built on LeadConnector), which we use to manage estimate requests and to send our calls and text messages
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety or those of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to serve you and keep business and tax records, which for returning customers can be several seasons. When we no longer need it, we delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the information we have about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Email Helldonis1@gmail.com or call (203) 802-5537 and we will respond within 45 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may keep records we are legally required to keep. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including limiting who can access it. No website or email system is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as payment card numbers through our forms.
Children
Our services are meant for homeowners and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
